Need quiet return pump for a 210gal AGA tank.

Moving Out
I have a 75gal sump below my 210gal tank. I have a Panworld 100px-x pump that is rated at 1270gal/hr. It pumps to much water threw my sump, also makes too much noise.
I'm thinking of a Poseidon PS3 rated at 800gal/hr.
Whats your suggestions for a return pump?
Thanks Tom

Why not use a Mag 12? Seems to be working well on my system.

Too load for me, try sequence. They are very quiet!!

I second the sequence. I've used a few and they are nice and quiet, run forever and not to expensive for the flow they put out.

I should have said that I already have a reeflo dart pump driving an oceansmotions 4way in a closed loop for the 210gal tank.
I'm just looking for a return pump from the 75gal sump. In the sump I'll have my skimmer & a fuge. The more I think about it, I'm thinking a poseidon PS2 pump.

Sequence pumps are very quiet but it appears you already have a high flow through your sump.

DO you think the problem is more noise related, or more flow related?

I own a Sequence Barracuda and two (one as back-up) pan world (blueline 100 rated at 1900g/h). Attached to the 125 gallon sump for my 225g reef, the pan world is more than sufficient to feed my two true 1" returns and my 1/2hp chiller. The sequence was too strong and created micro bubbles in the system. Hence, I use (2) 6200 tunzes for internal alternating current. I am not one for excessive amounts of flow through the sump. There really is no need for that with tunze's or CL systems.

The noise and vibration level may be brought down by using a mouse pad or soft pad under the pump. Also for the vibration, which can be transmitted to the fish tank and the animals, I have used a short segment of soft vinyl tubing with SS clamps between the return pump and the glass sump to isolate and minimize these vibrations. I am one for designing beautiful schedule 80 plumbing that will create awe when visitors stop by; but I am also concerned about the constant un-natural pump vibrations throughout my tank and its potentially deleterious effects on the inhabitants. In humans, constant vibrations may cause not only neurological and vestibular (balance) damage; but it may also affect the hematological system causing red blood cells to stack up like a row of coins and block small arterioles causing ischemic damage to tissues and end organs with small blood vessels. I am no vet but I would rather play it safe and create a stress free environment for the animals in my charge.
