Need recommendation for DC Powerhead

I'm currently using Koralias on my 120 gal, and aside from some minor issues am happy with them. Looking to replace one with a dc pump though so that I can setup a battery backup in case of a prolonged power outage. I've listed below the pumps I'm looking at and would appreciate some input or suggestions for other pumps I hadn't thought about.

Vortech MP10
Pros - Good brand/support, battery backup small and self-contained (important since going inside sump stand). Cons - Cost and need for continued replacement wet sides.

Vortech MP40
Pros - Same as above with greater potential flow variability. Cons - Same as above.

Tunze 6095
Pros - Great support, low wear & tear costs. Cons - Cost, battery backup not self-contained; would need to create dry box for inside stand

Jebo WP25
Pros - Price. Cons - Narrow flow pattern, same battery backup issues as Tunze.

Jebo WP40
Pros - Price and wide flow pattern. Cons - Size, more flow than desired, same battery backup issue as Tunze.

Also, I'm using a Reef Keeper and I have non-Radion lights, so whichever pump I go with will be stand alone and not integrated with the rest of my tank's functions/controls.

WP 40. No contest. I have both wp40 and mp40 running in my cube. Yes the mp40 has better support. But that is about 4x the price not including wet side replacements if needed.

Vortech or Tunze

if you keep up the preventive maintenance with the wet sides of a Vortech they will last. I have very little confidence with the WP40 pumps and I have a problem with copyright infringment even if your local government allows it

I don't understand peoples constant need to replace wet sides, clean them once in a while, it does wonders!

My vote would be Mp-40, 2 if it is in the budget.

wp 40 is a no brainer,,, can probably get one and a reef angel ...for less than the mp40 then you got it all... well if your tanks bigger get a couple wp 40's sold my tunzes and dont miss them since they paid for a controller and the new pumps.. the eco pumps are good but ugly and high maintaince or you gotta keep buying wet ends or deal with the noise...

I love my Tunze's.. I have 3 of them (two 6205's and one 6105) in my tank and they run great. I control them with my Apex and create great waves as well as a number of different flow patterns. Coming up on 3 years now without a single issue. Considering the Tunze 6095 is just over $100 more than the Jebao (not including a controller), that is the route I would go. You are getting a higher quality pump that actually includes support and a warranty unlike the Jebao.
