Need small barbless fishing hooks

I need to find a small enough barbless hook to catch some bicolor blennies who decided to supplement their diet with my SPS. I watched it for a while, but it starts getting out of control.
Attempts to catch them with a trap failed and their sleeping holes are deep within the rockwork so hooks are the only way to get them.

I looked around but failed to find anything.
Has anybody an online source for suitable hooks?

They are sold in fishing supplies as sabiki hooks or rigs (used to catch baitfish) or fly fishing hooks (or maybe hooks for small panfish). Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas are online sources, and your local sporting goods store should carry them (Dicks or Academy). You probably will need to buy hooks with barbs and just take a pair of pliers and crush the barb against the shaft of the hood (the metal is thin and brittle so it is very easy to do).

Maybe buy a small rod and reel to make it sporting. :lolspin:

Have fun.

I was able to pluck a fire fish out of a hole successfully & without harm with a siphon once. Since the Blenny has a somewhat similar body shape, it might work for you. Happy fishing!

I used a number 24 from Cabelas to capture an unwilling Clarkii. You might need something smaller. BUt the one I went to had a even small sizes in stock.

If you can find barbed the barb should punch down nicely with a needle nose.
