Need some advice/help about fragging zoos...

Hi all!

Just got some great light blue zoos from Steve (BIG thanks!).

Here's the deal:

They're actually on a snail shell and they seem a little loose. Well, technically they're spread across a couple of shells.

I would really like to get them off of this shell and put them on a rock. Should I even try? I really don't wan to damage them, but it just kind of bothers me they're on shells... they can only grow so much and I think these would be great zoos to sell (maybe at the frag swap!??! ).

Should I try to pull the small colony off of the shell? Xacto? Leave them alone? Glue the shell to something? I'm not sure what I should do!

Any help is greatly appreciated!

You can try slipping a razor blade under the mat and slicing/prying them off the shells. Then just super glue gel them to a rock and let them go. Cut the shells apart and you have a ready supply of frags.

WOW Gary... twas fast!

I may slip a new blade on the Xacto (or better yet... maybe not) and see if I can get them off without too much trouble.

I may leave the others where they are on their snail shells.
