I am what you would call and intermediate reefer, having only been around for 3 years, first year as a Cichlid aquarist. I am looking into getting a controller for that much more control over my aquarium but I have hit an impasse, WHAT ONE DO I GET!?:headwally: I have Tunze powerheads with a controller, but would like to streamline my electronics. I am torn between GHL and Digital Aquatics, and Neptune is off the table because I am not made of money :lolspin:

Equipment:
75 Gallon Drilled
20 Gallon Sump
2 Tunze 6055 powerheads
Ehiem 1260 Return Pump
Bubble Magnus NAC6 Skimmer
Artica 1/10th HP Chiller
Icecap Illumination 2x250W MH & 2x54W T5HO Light Fixture (3 plugs)

You won't go wrong with Profilux.

There are some internet sites you can buy from. I have purchased my latest equipment from ReefBytes and IMO, if it wasn't for the customer support I have received from them, I would have NOT continue my relationship with GHL.

Profilux is BY FAR the best equipment-- technically speaking-- available out there.
After using Neptune and DA, I wouldn't change a thing re TECHNICAL CAPABILITIES of Profilux. By far YOU CAN DO ANYTHING YOU WANT WITH P3.
My only concern is tech support!!!
You basically rely on hobbyists in order to set up and configure SOME of the equipment available. IMO (I am NOT imputed savvy) it has taken me A LONG TIME in order to configure and troubleshoot all my connections AND logics to fulfill my expectations. And I am STILL NOT WHERE I WANT TO BE. I HAVE A BOX OF INSTRUMENTS THAT I ORDERED 2 months ago sitting in my garage waiting for tech support.

So, in conclusion, IMO you will NOT go wrong with Profilux. It will exceed ALL your expectations and then some.

But if you are --LIKE ME-- not computer savvy, be ready to browse the forums and ask for help wherever you can find it.
And buy from a site with GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. THAT, I BELIEVE MAKES A HUGE DIFFERENCE.
