Ive searched RC for info and kinda came up empty handed so to speak. Here's the low down, a few weeks ago I had a long visit from the infamous cyano. At this time all of my coral (sps & lps) were looking great. Best ever as a matter of fact. I decided to run some new gfo and it knocked the cyano down pretty good. (faded my sps a bit as it has in the past but nothing too severe) Now im not sure if it was the gfo or a different salt (RS coral pro) that has gotten my corals very upset. All of my monti's have checked out except for one which is looking great. My hammer coral is absolutely looking great also, however my candycane is shriveling up. One birdsnest has died while the other one looks ok. My millies and another acro(??) are showing what looks like burnt tips which is slowly getting worse. Red planet and tricolor look better than they usually do. I have since quit running the gfo about 2 weeks now and all parameters look good and are spot on throughout the day. Can anybody tell me why some of my coral are suffering while others are looking better than they ever have?
