Need some direction / Help

Hello All,

Let me start by saying that I have had my Profilux for almost 2 years I belive and it has been humming along beautifully without a flaw all fo that time. To that poitn however, I have not, nor have I needed to upgrade it in almost that long!!

So, I believe it is a P2ex model. Dont laugh, but frimware version is 4.00!!

So my question is this, where and how do I begin teh upgrade process.

I am about to upgrade the tank, so this is the perfect time to be able to have it taken off line.

I will need to upgrade it to a P3, I need it to be able to control vortechs and the AI lights as well. WOudl probably liek to have the wlan also so i can work with it remotely.

the vendor I originally purchased it from no longer carries the product, so again, some direction would be great. Thanks!!

When you send you PII for a upgrade they will do the install of the new boards and also install the lates firmware.

For the wireless I would use the built in network interface and connect to a wireless bridge. it will be less money and you will be able to connect a few more device to the bridge.

Thanks for the answer. That being said, you lost me at wireless bridge....LOL

I am guessing the P3 has a built in network interface? I can connect to that through my standard home network? Guess I can do soem searching and find out!

yes it has a network port (rj45) and that can be connect to your network... or a bridge like this:
