I'm thinking it might be the age of the laptop???? It's my wife's old scrapbooking laptop. Might have to try our desktop which is considerably newer.
 
I’ve read that given enough light information, ecotech can reset the lights manually on their end. It still wouldn’t solve the connection manager issues though.

It seems a main way to resolve is to factory reset the lights individually:

1. Disconnect via USB and power down all lights for at least 30 seconds

2. Log in to EcoSmart Live using Google Chrome or Safari

3. Select the Settings then New Profile and Yes

4. Log out of EcoSmart Live

5. Start the Connection Manager and connect via USB to one Radion

6. Right click the connection manager icon select USB Radion then Factory Reset and Yes

7. Repeat step 6 for each light

8. Log in to EcoSmart Live and program your lights using the Aquarium Setup

9. Select the Program All button to save all changes

It seems the above is needed since they are not showing up because they're linked to another profile.

Some have had better luck shooting them an email with the Radions device IDs for them to remove/reset them

Another solution some found is the USB cable:

“Radions are picky with the USB cable. i have tried a bunch and so far the only ones that have ever worked for me are the ones from ecotech and Anker USB cable”
Downloaded Connection Manager to our couple year old desktop, installed no problem.

I get to step 5 and when I start Connection Manager, all it does is ask me if I’d like to allow this app to make changes to my computer. When I click Yes, the window closes and nothing deals happens????

Still haven’t heard back from ExoTech Support.
 
Now I’m fumbling through how to program these. Every video I’m finding the screens look different that what mine looks like😳🙄
 
Thinking ahead. So, do there remember the settings even if they’re without power or will need to keep them powered up until the upgrade is done?

Plan is to upgrade to the 120 and turn the current tank (40BR) into a frag tank and use the Radions to light the frag tank.
 
My understanding is they’re supposed to hold the programming. For how long I think is the question that I don’t know the answer to
 
Okay, first question, I scheduled my Radions from 9 AM to 9 PM. It's not 10:08 and they are going full blast????

Well, I had it set for preview, but I discontinued that and they are still going strong at 10:11 in our bedroom (since that's where the computer is.
 
WTF, they just fired up to full blast while I was logging off the computer. EcoTech needs a more user friendly interface for old people like me.

From what I understand, it’s not just you. That 14 month old would probably be spewing obscenities as well. You’d think that a “premium product” would be user friendly, but that’s obviously not the case.
