Need some help with Coral ID from a photo

Please move this to the appropriate forum if there is one that would get a better response there.

I have a photo that is going to be published in a magazine and the editors need a scientific description of the coral. The article is about coral disease and bad condition corals, so this photo is "illustrative" of that and not a coral that I have personally, so please do not flame me.
