Need some quick help with Apex Crash

I spent the last two days taking apart my fairly complicated ACIII system and replacing it with Apex from end-to-end.

I had everything replaced and running well. I was making some minor programming tweaks and when I loaded the outlet everything crashed.

The base unit just does a continuous reboot. I cannot access it with a the display or the internet.

I have been a Neptune user for 9 years. I don't even know how to run a tank without one. I don't even own a thermometer.

Do I have to stay up all night and rebuild my ACIII system to keep my tank alive???

I managed to re-flash the firmware but I can't keep it going long enough to reload the webpages. Any help would be appreciated.

I have the basics hooked up to my old ACIII with every extension cord in the house.

I sent mine to Neptune for service last week for the same issue. I did a "burn in test" on the unit for a couple of weeks, and all seemed well. Once I set it up in my actual system, it failed 3 days later.

I'm wondering if perhaps the latest batch of units have a manufacturing flaw or something. Suddenly, a lot of people who very recently purchased the Apex have been reporting this problem.

Things were looking so good I sold all of my ACIII Hardware. If Tech support can't fix it, I will have to un-sell it and reinstall everything. I travel a bunch. I can't afford to have something that isn't rock steady. If this had happend while I was gone, I would have come home to $5,000 in dead livestock.

Problem resolved with the help of Andy's Unofficial User's Manual and good tech support from Neptune.

Curt sent me a special driver that I was able to use with the Neptune loader utility to get the system back to factory settings. It was only possible to do this by using a boot up procedure described by Andy in his manual. By starting the loader before plugging in the base module, the two were able to connect during the boot sequence and load the new software.

Not a pretty failure mode. Glad I know how to fix it. I will not be touching my program for a week before I leave town.

Thanks for the support Neptune.
