Need some reassurance for a nem

My clowns seem to be irritating some of my soft corals as they try to host them. In fact, I think one actually died due to the irritation. Thus, my renewed interest in a nem. However, as I research the topic, I find so many articles and even a study that strongly suggests that keeping a nem is very difficult and that most die within 24 months or less.

If all of this is true, it makes me very concerned about adding one to my 125g display tank. I've also read that clowns can live quite well without a nem.

Your experienced thoughts would be appreciated.

My clown was just fine without his anemone, but man does he love it! That being said, anemones are pretty tough, but I have a captive raised green bubble tip anemone (like WDLV suggested) and it is doing well so far (about 4 months). It is a constant concern because an anemone dying in your tank can cause an ammonia spike that could very well crash your entire tank. That being said - the relationship between an anemone and a clown is one of the coolest things you can get out of a tank, and almost certainly worth the risk - espcially if you just keep a close watch on the anemone. If it starts to turn inside out, get it out - you can't save it at that point, but you can save the rest of your tank.
