Guys in my 150 I have 2 x 6100 on a multicontroller. Wanted to add something smaller to reach a dead spot in my tank. Can I add a smaller ph to go with my 6100's? Or would youjust order a regular ph that is cheaper. Wanted to know if I could add a stream or somthing on the same controller for my 6100's.

You could used a nanostram 6055 if you do not want to use one of the larger streams.

The 6055's are controlable along with your 6100's.

I have 2x 6100's in my tank, but have a 6045 hidden up high. I use it to cross the stream of one of the 6100's and creates a pretty decent amount of turbulence in the area. The 6055's look great, but you _might_ be able to go with a 6025/6045 depending on how you have things setup.

The 6025/6045 nano streams are not controllable (but with the right placement might do the job). The 6055 nano stream is controllable.

Flow is more about proper placement and getting the right turbulence.

Look in the center high middle of mine. Most of my SPS are on the left, and the 6045 creates great turbulence in that area because it crosses the stream of the 6100 on the left.

mmotown,

As you have a Multicontroller I would go with a 6055 as this will give you the most possibilities with the dead spots.

You're right but there's $100 difference between the two. Constant flow from the 6045 should be okay don't you think?

mmotown,

You could use any of the Nanostreams for additional flow to sort out the dead spot, the 6055 is the only model in the Nano range suitable to run on the multicontroller this is the reason for the price difference more parts and technology.

Cheers
Graeme
