ok heres the situation i have, about 2 months ago i bought a few browned out acros and millis, they were doing great in my tank, then about 2 weeks ago my skimmer overfilled into the sump with about a week and a half worths of scum in it, now the polyps on the these sps wont come out, well others(pollicapora, digi, birdsnest, all the easy ones are fine) now the starnge thing is without polyps opening they are coloring up great the milli has bright green tips and the acros are almost all neon green now? i have changed water(ro) once a week, 2 gallons on a 15 gal tank-10 gal sump, alk did drop a bit but has been steady sense and still nothing, i also check at night and no polyps, the only thing im not testing for is phosphates could this be the cause? also added a yellow clown goby, cought him nipping a bit but i would think i would still see a few polyps out here and there,,,what should i do???
sorry to ramble on and thanks for anyone reading all this to help me out i just wanted to be as detailed as i can on the first shot
also sg is stable alk is now stable cal should be fine, lights are plenty, and flow is great

A couple of water changes would correct the skimmer deposits/ decrease in Alk.

Sounds like something( fish or crab?) is irritating the acros. If coloration is OK I would recommend just leaving be and observe. If tissue loss or color fade then look at parameters again.

ok, thanks guys im gonna just try to keep my hands outta the tank except my weekly water changes and keep my fingers crossed

Warning on the yellow clown goby- Ive kept several in the past and they DO nip sps's - Almost all my sps's closed up like that after I added them to the tank and it took months to figure it out and catch them to get them out.. Its hit or miss with them.
Also +1 on the water changes.

thanks guys i did take the goby out and keept the lights off all day today to see if things will be like brand new tomorrow haha
