Need starfish

If anyone has a few (or a lot!) of asterina starfish, I would appreciate a few (or a lot! lol).

I had one and a half bazillion of them and could never keep zooanthids, they always disappeared -- I even observed the little starfish munching away on my zoos. So I got a Harley Shrimp -- expecting to keep him busy for a long time, but he, amazingly, wiped out the asterinas in just a couple of weeks!

I find the usual practice of buying a beautiful ornamental chocolate chip star for him to munch on (alive) rather repulsive. I'm planning on collecting some local stars to feed him, but haven't had the time yet to do so. So... I'm asking you guys if you have any of those pesky asterinas to donate to my Hungry Harly!

hey bud I should be going diving this month some time when I pick a few up for myself on the bottom of rockaway beach I will grab a few for you

You could also try having a few larger starfish in the sump and alternate grabbing limbs off of them every week, no?

George you should have posted before Friday night ..I could have brought you alot of them...I brought some pods and mini brittle stars for other members....
