HELP...I'm starting up my new tank in the next week or 2. I have an Apex lite controller for it & need someone who knows how to set it up. I am extremely technically challenged & not even willing to try to figure it out. Anybody here capable & need a little extra cash?
What are you trying to do with it? What parameters are you wanting to monitor and what are you trying to control; what lights, pump, heater or chiller?
When I got my reef keeper I felt the same. YouTube had step by step videos for everything I wanted to set it up for. Give that a try. You're gonna want to know how it works anyways.
If you find someone who comes out and sets it up, make sure to watch them set it up and show you what they are doing. Ask questions and you will learn a lot from watching them. Once its set up and running, its very easy to make changes etc...
I want to control my temp & lights (leds) for sure. I'll also have 2 powerheads, a skimmer, return pump, top off pump & ATO which I think I'll plug into a DJ bar for easy on & off function.
I ordered my DJ switches last night. At my TX house I have a Digital Aquatic reefkeeper & I messed that up trying to get it setup. A friend is supposed to get it set up for me. It looks like this one is even more confusing
