Hi all my bta has not eaten anything for over a week and its flat and its mouth is open some times. is this a sign of the end .

please post some tank stats, could easily be temp issues or anything else.

temp s 80.4 and tested water today and everthing is great 4 watts per gallon lighting

What are the numbers behind those tests?

And what is the salinity?

Watts per gallon really don't work. What type of lights do you have?

i think it is your temperature, i know for a fact my BTA likes it more like 78 to even look sexy. try lowering it a couple of temps and see if it reacts.

I don't think is the temperature. My BTA's never had any problem with higher temperatures. What's your alk level?

Well a water change never hurts IMO.
