needing lighting advice

I have a 90gallon rr aquarium. I am currently running PC lights and t-5's. I am planning on buying metel halides with my taxes. I got a great deal on 2 Blueline 250w 14k SE bulbs. I am debating on 2 different setups.

set up #1
Just 2 MH's

What do you suggest? What would you change if anything?
I am raising zoas, leathers, mushrooms, and plan on doing clams and some SPS.

I'd go with the MH and actinics... get the sunrise sunset thing going on.

Im with TinyTool, I like the actinics with the MH's. I like the way the colors look under the VHO actinics.

Well what i was wondering is I was told the 14k bulb are pretty blue.

Dude, go with actinics and mh's....you can get awesome growth with the mh's and get super stunning visuals with the actinics....

I actually run 2 14k 250's with 3 VHO Super actinics and one white actinic. I would not trade this lighting combo for anything over my 90 gallon. It is a perfect balance of growth and color. Not too blue and not too white.

Which ballast are you talking about?
All I did is watch our forum and ask a few people. Then I just went to the site.

I've been looking at the Icecap ballasts but these will do for me.
