my k2viper uv sheild just exsploded dont know from what but it went bang. now i need either a new k2 sheild doubt anyone has one or a double ended hqi refelctor thats compatable with the standerd ballest that comes with the k2. help me out please

or if anyone has anytihing to fit over a 20 long i can trade the k2 viper and balest for it and pay some cash and then you can find a new sheild. im despret here

When you say shield are you referring to the glass? If so why not just go to a local glass company and have them cut you a piece of tempered glass?

thought the glass had a special coating on it to protect from uv rays.

They won't have tempered glass at lowe's or HD. They can cut glass. Matt, I'm about to tear down my retro MH (SE) system over my frag tank. It'd fit over the size tank you're talking about....think it's a 30" light. It isn't high end by any means, but if you're really in a bind, then we could work something out.
