Negative growth or adaptation??

Going to attach two photos of some of my zoas.. the difference is going to be the taller ones are from my old 20G with low flow and a coralife 65watt 50/50 PC light, vs my high high flow 55G as listed in the sig at the end of the post..

All I want to know is this normal?? in a high flow situation would the zoa of this kinda lower is stalk height and start to spread out..

In the second picture they look much happier.They are opened more to say the least.

i think most zoas are going to do better in high flow area's, it seems to be the trend as of late.

That was one thing I couldnt find, was a old picture of the zoas that was good.. new tank around the same time as a new camera.. but the stalks have dropped in height by nearly half an inch... they looked like purple sunflowers before.. now they shrinking.. i mean they still look good.. but I suppose I thought that was the style of zoas that they were.. a tall zoa stalk with a broad flowering end.
