Hi guys,
I got this nem over a month ago, not sure what type (maybe you guys can help me). at the beginning he was beautiful white/silver. now he is brown as you can see and I'm not sure why.
tank is over 1 year water parameter is great, he look very happy, fully open every day. the clown live inside, eat good and good lights.

I'm using ocean revive led lights 15% white, 55% blue.
any ideas why?

It looks to me to be a still slightly bleached, but recovering long tentacle anemone. White is not a natural color for most anemones, the browning up is an indication that it is regaining its symbiotic algae.

My LTA bleached out and got lost in the back of my tank for a couple months, I actually thought it had died, then it reappeared super tiny and somewhat bleached in the first picture, 6months later in the second, and a year and a half in my tank in the third.

Wow its beautiful!
So if that is the case I think I'm in good condition.
At the lfs store she was completely white! He told me that's the way they are.
And now after month she gain green tantaculs with brown.
No more white spots.

Yeah beige/brownish color is sign of regaining health.
I had to laugh the other day while at petco, they actually had a sign made that says white sebae, no such thing as a white host anemone
Also agree LTA ID
