nem for tomatoes

Have a 90 gal. reef tank with Blue Tang, 4 Cromis, 2 fire fish, engineer goby (convict bleeny?), hermit crabs and turbo snails, mushrooms, button polyps. Just got 2 tomatoe clowns and would like to know if Seabae or bubble tip would be better for them. Also concerned about the engineer goby digging around them, he is digging under all of the live rock and hope he wouldn't dig around a nem???

I'd go with a BTA, for sure. It's a natural host for them, and the best suited anemone for captivity. You can probably find a clone off of a local reefer, which would be even hardier and have the benefit of being zero-impact.

Thanks for the reply, I'll try to find one here, may have to go over the bridge to Louisville... So the engineer goby won't bother the BTA??

make sure you get a large one though, tomatoes are one of the roughest on their anemones. I had a cinnamon that was like 4" and she'd attack it, swimming as fast as she could into it. This eventually led to bye bye clowner, back to the lfs.
