Nemo Compability

just because the fish would be cheap to replace don't mean to automatically put them in harms way.

i would deff. stick to either the damsels or 2 clowns but not together in the same tank.

i bought 2 nemo, one of them die in the plastic bag,QQ

(probably caught by cyanida)
fisherman in my country is uneducated QQ

the other get into the tank, and no damsel touch him..

the dead nemo,

Really no point in asking if you're just going to do it anyway. 12 fish in that size of a tank is an extremely high number, you're going to have more losses -- especially when you have 6 damsels. What kind of damsels are they?

What kind of damsels and what kind of wrasses?

Hopefully for the sake of the fish you are moving them into a much bigger tank very soon.

I misread the size of your tank. It's already overstocked. Hope you are getting a bigger tank cause you are gonna be killing fish left and right. What kinda filtration do you have on it? Got any pics of it to post? Interested to see it.

Looks to me he went out and got what he wanted regardless of what we advised him not to do.

What damsels and wrasses do you have in your tank now?

damsels are
1 white stripe damsel
2 yellowtail damsel
1 australian blue damselfish
1 yellow damsel
1 undifinied damsel

filtration is only uas and some liverock

damsels are
1 white stripe damsel - can't find this one
2 yellowtail damsel - 30 gallon tank
1 australian blue damselfish - blue damsel requires 30 gallon tank
1 yellow damsel - 30 gallon tank
1 undifinied damsel

wrasses are
1 green wrasse - 75 gallon tank
1 melanurus wrasse - 50 gallon tank
1 red wrasse - 125 gallon tank if red coris wrasse

You might be able to get away with a 26 gallon tank for a couple of the ones saying 30 gallons, but not 9 of them & especially none of the wrasses you have. It's not just the amount of water or filtration, but the amount of room & the temperament of the damsels that will cause issues. The wrasses need more room than you have in your tank even without all the other fish in there.

Your tank is not set-up for corals. It is set up for fish only. You have too may fishes in your tank. Most likely your clownfish will not make it due to the harassment of the damsels. If he dive into the elegance coral and live there, he may make it but your Elegance coral will not survive long in your tank.

It is really too small of a tank for that may damsels. Clownfish are poor swimmer and does not compete well with the other fishes that are there. That is why they cannot survive in nature without their anemone. Don't even think of adding an anemone in that tank.

its the second day for my nemo, and my nemo is already more aggressive from any damsels in my tank,i really really think he will make it,if he doesn't infected white spot

why you think my tank designed for fish only?

Your under gravel filter will put out a lot of nitrates. High nitrated is very detrimental for corals.. If you want a tank for coral, you need to have high light (I am not sure how much light you have) but you should remove the under gravel filter and just keep a sandbed of 7+ cm deep. This will process ammonia completely to free nitrogen which escapes into the air (anaerobic breakdown of ammonia). The under grave filter just convert ammonia to nitrite and then to nitrates (aerobic breakdown of ammonia)

Well now... why don't you go ahead and add a Three Spot Domino while you're at it.

Here's the thing.... you come asking for advice, tell us what you currently have, went out and bought 2 clownfish to boot, one clown was DOA. We advise you you're way overstocked with damsels.

Now you're telling us your new addition clown is "already more aggressive then the other damsels" thus raising your hopes high thinking it will do okay.

In all honesty, that's an insult towards those who tried to help you yet you do what you want regardless.

I am in 500% agreement with the previous poster -DON'Teven think about adding an anemone.

I apologize to ReefCentral admins and mods in advance if I stepped out of line.
