Neodymium magnets & SW

I happen to have a lot of those neodymium iron boron super strong magnets. I was wondering if anyone has tried using them to say, keep an algae feeding clip in place after the suction cup gives way. Or any other application.

What would you do to make it SW safe? I'm thinking dipping in a thin epoxy coating or something, perhaps?

After seeing magnets holding Koralia circulation pumps, it got me thinking.

to hold my heaters and my surface skimmer.

They are super strong and have a variety of clips that attach to the magnet. You could use them to hold algae or you could attach a clip to them.

Use some silicon RTV to attach a magnet to whatever you want to hold in the tank and you're good to go.
