At first the percula didn't go into the gigantea...

... but only moments after I turned the flow of they hopped in. Though the female of the crab pair wasn't too happy about the new roommates:

For some reason the gigantea doesn't attach its foot well. The pedal disk is all curled up only one or two spots on the rim stick to the ceramic dish.

On top of that, the female percula came down with an infection at the mouth, at her chin to be precise.

Thursday I found it upside down (see picture). I turned it around and it hasn't flipped over since. It seems to have some damage to its foot. It looks like it healed up already and otherwise it doesn't show any indication of being sick. It's just that it seems to have problems attaching itself securely.

I got it for well over a month now and it did not once deflate or showed other signs of infection.
That said, it has a problem with its pedal disk and doesn't attach with its entire foot to the substrate:

It also isn't really eating, at least when I tried to feed it didn't take the food.

It's not looking like that. It's more that half of the foot is contracted and somewhat curled up on itself. The picture doesn't really show it well. I actually had to use an algae scraper to push the oral disk out of the way to take that picture.
