Nepthea frag from Elite

So Vincerama asked me to take a piece of Nepthea from Elite for him.
I did. Since it was on Thursday I put it in my tank so that I can bring it to the office next week. I put it in a small cave in a rock.

Monday morning I looked at it and saw that it looked like the frag had several branches. A bigger 2inch and a smaller 1/2 branches around it. Since Vincerama gave his blessing for me to get a small "fee" for bringing the frag to him - I cut him a big branch and left small branches for myself.

It was 3 weeks now and it grew huge:

the one he put in his tank (look at that plastic-fork-nepthea-holder) looks like this:

So I'll have frags available soon ;-)

Yup under the right condition, that sucker grows really fast ..

Does it like high flow and light? What condition is your under?

It is in the lower 1/3 of my 50g.
I have T5's and moderate flow.

Mine is on the bottom. It's about 22" under 12K reeflux bulb. Flow is very low.

So basically, it's like someone gives you a hand, and the "delivery boy" hands you the fingernail from the pinky....

But it's all good as long as it grows in both our tanks... though I expect Vlad to take over my spot on the chain ...
