Upgraded our internet and (even though we stayed with AT&T) had to setup a new network. I’m trying to change the network for my Apex and everything I’m reading says the reset button for the unit is on the bottom by the plugs/ports and is about the diameter of a paper clip. The thing is, I don’t see a hole anywhere on there???? Any help would be appreciated. Hell, I can’t even find a clear picture on the internet of where the reset button is supposed to be.

Why do you need to reset it? Weren't you using a range extender to connect it via Wi-Fi? It's probably that thing that needs a new setup.

I was able to find this manual for the jr but its for the EB8 version (not sure if that makes a difference?) - https://aquariumstoredepot.com/wp-content/uploads/files/APEX_Junior_Manual.pdf

In that, I found this with regards resetting the system. Says to reset is to restart the network setup through the Apex display module.

Not reset necessarily. But, to change networks it said to press the reset button for 6 seconds until the status light turns blue, then you can change networks.

With the new internet, I won’t need the range extender so, I was going to connect direct to the AT&T air hub.

Did the authentication type change?
Use the same SSID and Password in the new equipment for the local area net and the Apex should be able to get an IP address and function.

There is a pin hole reset on Apex main units on the under side where all your equipment wires plug in. You have to hold it in for several sec and it change colors, then it can be found on your apex fusion app and then you can change the network setting.

That’s not the unit I have. I have this one. No reset button I can find.

Thats a EB4. there is no reset on those. Those are simple plug and play. Once you have your Apex running simply attach the Apex to EB4 with a aquabus cable. (not any usb cable) then it will just show up on the Apex fusion or on apex home page. Some times it might be hidden in not visible tiles. there is a overload circuit protection reset on there but that has nothing to do with networking.

Goto your Apex page, or app.
Click on settings (in orange)

Should show you all the equipment attached to your apex.
In my case here you can see several EB4 attached.

There are no reset on these, they should appear on this module window and then you can program each of the 4 outlets to do what you want them to do.
Let me know if you need more help with it, I have a dozen of Apex and 200 some modules running between home and business.

It’s not an EB4, it’s the older style Apex Jr controller. If I didn’t have that, I couldn’t control anything with my EB8s alone.
