Neptune pH probe

I received my new probe in the mail today. When I connected to the Aquacontroller Jr. the reading did not change. I had some 7.00 and 10.00 calibration solution that I just purchased from PA so I gave the probe a re-calibration. When I put probe in 7.00 solution the reading changed, but when I put in 10.00 it just stayed the same. After pressing the select button I get a message that the probe is defective. I tried two seperate packages of both the 7.00 and 10.00 solutions and got the same defective message.

Should I handle the return through PA or with Neptune Systems since it was a direct ship from them?

Hi,

Did you make sure that you removed the cap from the end of the probe?

Yes

In the 7.00 solution the controller went from 4.32 to 5.06. I rinsed probe off and put in 10.00 solution and the controller stayed at 5.06. At this point I hit select to get off the screen that's when the defective message appeared.
