To all,

Well, we decided to do a Remodel.
The remodel basically consists of a new Kitchen, Bath, hallway, and ceilings raised through out.

Along with the remodel, my tank was to be moved.

I decided to do the same size base tank to reuse my powder coated steel stand.

Crystal Dynamics has a 72 x 24 x 27 tank. 200 Gallons for me!!!!!

So, there will be pictures to come.....

As a teaser:
Pic 1 demo has started, but just barely,
Pic 2 demo quite far.... Tank is empty
Pic 3 tank in the background in old location.... Skylight in the foreground.... over the future island.
Pic 4 tank stand in the new location.... basically moved the kitchen wall so I could create a 9' space for the tank and equipment closet withy sink for water changes...

We started in April...

Looking to insulate and hang drywall this week...
All new electric
All new plumbing
All new Gas
All new Air...

Once Drywall is hung, I will stop while I re-roof...

Then Tape and stucco...

At the end of the project, Solar is added and, I also added a battery as well as a Manual Transfer Switch to back up the tank, pond, and refer/freezers.

I did a 150 Gallon Stock tank complete with sump, skimmer, auto top off, Apex, and my ATI Light...
I will add the calcium reactor and GFO unit soon here... It also has to MP 40's

I built a stand to bring it up for Gravity Flow.

Pics of my new tank have arrived!!!!

Tank is being delivered today before 3:00 PM

Note: it will have a side ghost overflow so that all the piping will be close to my sink for water changes.
All of the returns will be attached to the wall higher than the tank for easier servicing.

Last of all a view from the back of the tank!

You'll notice I have 3 sides of the tank done in black.
(4) returns
(2) holes for the overflow (Will be installed when I get home)
The top has a double eurobrace with a ledge to set the screen in...

Drywall has been installed.
I am waiting to tape until I get the new roof and the stucco repaired due to changing windows and doors

Tomorrow I will upload a pic of the tank alcove. once it is done, it will have a millwork face on it so that it only shows the tank face.
It will have 2 doors above for the lighting (ATI Hybrid)
It will have 2 doors below for the equipment.

Then, the last 36 inches will be a hidden door to access the Apex and all of the equipment that I dont put underneath the tank.

I am probably going to put my calcium reactor, Kamoer Pump, CO2 cylinder, and all of the controllers in there above the sink.

The sink will be set up to take 15 Gallons of water real easy for water changes. This way I can fill the sink twice quickly for a 30 Gallon water change (15%).

NO MORE 5 GALLON BUCKETS!!!!!

One Last Item.... In the first pic below, you will see a window that I added. I saw cut through the fireplace.... This window is directly in line with the center of the front door.... so...... when someone comes to visit, they will be able to see through to the back yard.... Too Bad My Pond isn't right there....

As always.... ENJOY!!!!
