It’s been 12 days since I set-up this 30 gallon high reef tank. I am very happy with how it is coming toghter..
I used live rock from my 12 gallon nano cube of 4 years, and my friend gave some to me, plus I picked some up at the LFS.
Livestock Includes:
(3) Yellow tailed damsels
(2) Black & white stripped damsels
(1) Black with white spots damsel
(3) Cernith snails
(3) Red Snails
(6) Blue Leg Hermit Crabs
(3-4) White sponges
(10-15) miniature star fish
Live Coral Includes:
Various zoanthids and gsp
Specs:
30 gallon glass aquarium
Custom made stand (100% teak wood) with two cabinets
169 watts of power compact fluorescent lighting with ballasts and reflectors installed
1- 105 watt 5000K MaxLite Highmax Compact Fluorescent
2- 32 watt 50/50 Compact Fluorescents with separate ballasts (able to run different light schedules to simulate morning and night
Custom made in aquarium fuge/filter
Three power heads with custom piping for maximum circulation
2- 606 mini-jet power heads (Max Flow: 82-153gph) adjustable flow rate
1- Portable Refractometer (model # RHS-10ATC)
1- CE Hand-held pH meter (ATC)

35-40 lbs of various aquaculture live rock (Fiji & Tonga)
2-3 inches of live sand
