new 6025 prop housing

I just purchased a 6025 and the prop housing does not fit well. The power cord seems to stop it from sitting in properly. I have read some have the same issue. How do I go about getting a replacement that would work. I don't feel I should pay for a replacement part on a product I just opened out of the box. Purchased from marine depot last week.

I had the same issue with one of my Nanos. I just shaved away a little of the plastic in the cord notch.
