new 90 gal speedy setup.

So i am in a little time crunch right now. I am about to move from my apartment to my first house on tuesday. Even with all the stress that comes with a new house i managed to convince the wifey we should upgrade to a 90 gallon.
" It will be so much easier to move the 60 gal to a 90 since the tank is tore down already" "i have a free oak stand, it wont cost that much to upgrade" lol oops i forgot about a overflow!

So this brings me to trying to assemble a 90 gallon by tuesday. I have all the equipment(sump, skimmer, mp40w, controller, lighting) to run the 90, but I want to drill the tank this time and not use my U tube overflow. I really do not want to setup my 60 gal again at the new house. Only to upgrade, and move the inhabitants again in a week or two.

Should i use a 700 gph glass holes kIt or 1500? Do i have any other good options?

They have 90 gallon tank and 700 gph kit locally in stock, but not a 1500Gph kit. What to do??

curious to hear the responses.

my 72 has a 700 kit on it

my 120 has a single factory installed corner 1.5 overflow which I believe has similar throughput to the 700 kit.

hmm never thought of that, the corner flow does have a similar size single drain proabably around 700 gph.

My e shoppes Utube style overflow is rated for 700 GPH currently on my 60gal display, with a mag 7 return, it seems to be a great flow rate to match my octo-150 skimmer.

I think i Should keep the flow threw the sump matched to the skimmer right?

I like to have most my water movement come from the mp40W and controlled k3's. I rely on sump return for filtration needs only not water movement.

The Glass-Holes 700 kit should work fine. I use them on my 57G, and on my 60G Prop tank. A friend has his on a 120G and it works flawlessly.
