New 9010 Installation

Roger,

I just installed a 9010 in cabinet. Water is shooting out of the hole in the back, is that normal?

Also, no bubbles that are visible with the cup removed. Doubt that is normal..

Love the unit, its quiet and compact and I am seriously hoping to knock down the nitrate levels once and for all in my 75 gallon reef tank. The Red Sea was not effective at all. Look forward to your response.

Likely the airline is disconnected from the pump. You will need to open the skimmer and connect it.

It is normal for water to exit the hole in the back.
