Yes he said 6 weeks ago he started. How are your water parameters? Did you go through any cycle?
Tank and stand are beautiful! You did a wonderful job on the stand. Do you have a sump\refugium?

Thanks for thoughts
its 1 1/4 inch off wall back oc cab is open for vent., ill post a picture later of inside stuff
and a list of stuff so if i got anything wrong im open for advice , tank cycled in about 3 weeks

schmo37 - Nice tank you've got there. How you liking the corner bows thus far? One thing I'd warn you about with these corner bows is that they seem to scratch easier than with rectangular glass tanks. I have a few scratches on my front panel from friends who weren't careful while cleaning my glass. I don't know if it's just me, but just wanted to give you a heads up.

Ummmmm this is kind of hard to believe but I'm new to this too. So how can I have all that stuff in his tank after it "cycled in 3 weeks"???

First i ordered the 92 tank then built base stand while waiting for it to arrive , set up put water in, sand and 2 pieces of live rock next day a few large cheap damsels , finding out how much live rock was and seeing how much id need i started looking for a used aquarium with live rock found a 75 setup for less than half what the live rock would coast , so purchased it just for the live rock , sinced the rock was coverer with algee and such it caused the tank to cycle really quick , had water tested every day since i didnt know exactly what i was doing at local store , then set up a protine skimmer and uv sterilizer , everything went so well started adding soft corals from local store then fish. so far everything has went very good , this site has helped totally i knew nothing at all 8 weeks ago ( still dont really ) just read and ask. now i might fix up that 75 and give it a try , let the 92 set and cure , I truly think getting that algee coverd live rock made a giant leap

Looking good, didnt see any extra powerheads. Is your return pump pushing out enough flow to eliminate any extra flow needed? I hate see any dead spots arrise befor you know It. Nice job!

Noob too, with the same tank

Noob too, with the same tank

I'm new to this forum too (actually to forums in general). I have this very same tank and have a custom built stand but haven't decided on how to construct the hood. I hope to turn this empty tank into a corals tank. I've never had corals before but I do understand their light requirements. Anyone have any suggestions on a layout for the lighting in the hood that still needs to be built?

I'm still in the process of preparing to build a sump/refugium (going to DIY it)...I need to buy my skimmer still too...leaning towards the euro-reef rs-100 model...any thoughts? Thoughts on a UV sterilizer too? Thanks ahead of time for any advice!

Jenn

ALL I can say is WOW!

I love the look of those Pie shaped tanks. My next tank will be that shape or full round. (that is if the wife will approve.. )

Great Looking Tank, Stand, and Canopy !!!

Love the setup looks very nice.

You should go in the business of building stands and canopies, nicest corner setup I have seen.
