I just plugged in my new ACIII with temp, pH, and ORP probes. I kinda hate to ask this potentially silly question, but if my initial ORP reading is 027 does that mean the probe needs calibration or do I have a serious problem in my tank?
My corals are all generally healthy in a system with 300 gallons. But I am diagnosing some acro tip recession. Maybe I found the cause??!
I sometimes have a pH problem with my airtight house and after the initial reading, I opened my basement door and started running a very large air pump in my 100g sump. ORP rose to 130 over six hours.
Thanks
