are you happy with that lobo? that rbta has finally found a home and both my clarki and maroon clown love it. they actually share it

hmmm...I don't know if it would be the same thing. I know on the dead spots of some of my SPS, before it got a chance to heal up, those stupid spikey nuissance snails started up. Had to break them off to let the SPS heal right....such a pain. But that doesn't sound like what you have doing on.

jamesd74 i love the lobo i feed it every day thanks
but as far as the acro i need another person to see it in person its crazy

a better description would be that it looks like a white feather duster going in and out of the coral

I have some corals that have that also. It is just like a tiny feather duster and as far as I can tell harmless. It has been that way for several years.

Vermitids, a royal pain in the butt!!!!!!

+1... My SPS seem to encrust over them in time. I gave up the fight against Vermetids LONG time ago, and just break them off when I see them starting to encroach on a coral. Like I said though, most of the time the coral will start encrusting over them before I notice they're even there.

Description about 3/4 of the way down:

there is no tube just the white thing that goes in and out of the coral.
i will have to wait and see if its good or bad.
