Good points: This fish eats prepared foods -frozen well. Acclimates quickly and is very disease resistant.
In the wild it likes to mimic some surroundings and often hides in seaweed beds.
Looks for crustaceans to eat and other "small" aquatic life.
May eat aips and some other nuisance things if it gets the taste for them.
Some aggressive fish may pick at it. Other tank mates could break this up enough to not have it be an issue. Unless the aggressor fish is just way too aggressive.
Watch your Corals
Reported to pick at certain polyps. But don't let this be a downer right away.
I've seen reports- some people having good luck- not bothering their corals.(depending on what they have?) Others have gotten rid of because it picked.
Could be a case like with some other fish, an "individual type thing". If they get "used to" their behavior or not...
TRY feeding it regularly, maybe some extra mini feedings if you can.
Get it used to seeing you every time for the "food".
Maybe it will behave itself. It's a real cool fish! Good luck.
Let us know how it goes for you.
I'm really interested in how things go.
May the Force be with you Rogue!
