The Elegance in these pictures is the first one that I got. It got a bit sick somewhere along the line but is getting better. This is before it got sick. The acans in these pictures are after they got burned by the new lights.
These Acan pictures were before being burned by the new lights.
Gold Aussie torch, pink tip torch and blue tip torch. I cant get the pictures to show how beautiful they really are. One of these days I'm going to get a camera that takes pictures as I see them.
Newer pictures, many of these are new frags and some of the older one. I'm also going to post up some pictures after these to show how much the ones that suffered from melting with the new lights to how much they grew in only a week after having gotten the new lights adjusted properly. I'm going to have to go shopping for a camera that will take better pictures. The color of these is so amazing.
Notice the 4 head frogspawn in about the center of the picture, this is how they've looked ever since the new lights burned them. They still look like this today and have not extended at all since. If anyone has any ideas how to get them to extend, I'm all ears.
The acans here you can see how much they've grown with just a few days with the new lights. Later today I'll try and get some current to show just how much they've grown since getting them.
The second acan is a new one, all of the others are older ones that you can see how much they've expanded since getting the new lights adjusted properly. I'm running them at 60% blue and 20% white and am getting phenomenal growth and regenerated tissue on the ones that I had that got burned. These pictures were taken on 3/18/16. They've grown even more since then.
It's killing me not to have these pictures showing the amazing colors. I promise that I'll work on that later today and hope to get them closer at least. These are still from 3/18
These are the final pictures from 3/18. I'll take more pictures today to not only show how much they've grown since 3/18 but also to get the colors as close as I can to what they are.
Well I did a little rearranging and got my acan's off of the sand and sitting on some rocks. Still have some adjustments to do but here are two quick shots of the left and right sides of the tank. I'm going to try and get some better pictures in a few days.
Let me know if you have any suggestions on changes or if you like it, or maybe see something that you would change.
