My surgery is at 7am tomorrow morning, I have to be at the surgical center at 5:30 which means I need to leave my house at 4am. Needless to say I'm probably not going to get much sleep tonight.

I've got people lined up to help with my tank while I'm laid up, so I'll be able to heal and watch my tank

Thanks for the well wishes everyone, the surgery was a success! I can already tell that I am not going to have the pain that I've had for so long and I just got home from the hospital.

I feel Amazing even with the surgical pain :thumbsup:

Too bad about the Marsaqua leds. I almost bought some this weekend, but opted for a super t5 setup instead. Glad I did after reading your post

Yes I do have an Acan addition very badly I just love all of the different colors that you can get and I don't have a fraction of what's available. So yeah I plan on getting many more of them :dance:

The good thing is that I really like the Acan frags better than colonies so from a money standpoint it works better for me.

I've still been playing with my new light settings and it's really looking great today. Everything is so happy and extended. I just found a possible good camera for taking tank pictures, I can't wait to get some really good pictures and my cell phone camera and my other digital just don't cut it.

I will try a few in a little while and see if they come out ok. and post them later.

Did you see the coralfish12g video about using gel filters? Just a colored peice of plastic you hold in front of the camera, and it completely color corrects. Otherwise the blues just consume the photo

He promotes his site, but the guy is super str8 foreword, and you can get the filters anywhere for dirt cheap. But the info he provides is always great.

YAY I got a new camera, Canon EOS XTi 400D and will be getting a tripod tomorrow. I wanted to share some unedited pictures with you and have something to compare to when I start with the tripod and edit program. I'm so happy the color is amazing and what they really look like.

I've ordered all kinds of goodies for my camera and they will be here next week. Once I get to playing with them I'll have I hope some really amazing pictures. Going to be doing some individual macro shots... I hope :dance:
