I guess since it's my tanks one year b-day, I went out and finally got a new mate for my female watanabie, he has been in quarantine at my LFS for three weeks, watching him and makeing sure he had no bacterial infections. And while I was there, I couldn't pass up this beautiful male pylei's.

My female angel took right to the male. I hope they get along for a long time.

Asesome! I have really wanted to do a pair of watanabei angels in my 200g reef tank, but have read that they can tend to chase wrasses and anthias to death--have you had any problem with that at all? We have a very similar taste in fish!

I've been looking at the pair of pylei's on liveaquaria's diver's den, but man, they are not cheap (nor are the watanabei's...)!

I haven't had any problems so far. The angels will move the wrasses out of the way, but they don't chase them . My Bartletts tend to be the most aggressive. Yea, these fish are definately not cheap, so don't tell my wife.LOL

I get most of them there. He brings in some of the more expensive fish, and has a great selection. But he also services alot of high end maintenance accounts, so his clients also wants some of the "rarer" fish. His business is only open four days a week to the public, they make most of their money serviceing big business accounts accross the wasatch front.

Hey Bradleyj
Do you recommend that LFS highly. I'm stuck up here in Montana and occaisonally get down to Salt Lake on business. I would love to have the luxury of seeing a fish in person before ordering, unlike the online vendors. Could you please pass on the store's details for future reference. Thanks MGB
ps, Nice fish & tank

Hhow long have you had that cleaner wrasse under your care??

I always in deep aww when someone can keep one of those guyz alive
