New Anemone looking kinda frail all of a sudden. Help.

I bought a new rose bubble tip the other day. The first two days he did really well. Did not travel TOO much, and opened up nice and large. However I noticed today he is shriveled and hiding in the rocks. It was like this the past 8 hours or so. What could be wrong? It almost looked like he opened his mouth and attatched it to rock and was trying to split itself? Now I am wondering if maybe it just hasnt been fed in a while. I pulled out some mysis and shook it around, it seemed startled at first but accepted the mysis. And it is perking up a little. I have jaime going to buy silversides when she gets off work. But I could use some help in the meantime. What could be wrong with him?

Here are some pics one of how he was on day two and the rest how he looks today:

ours is halide, lfs had vho. but for the first 2 days he was lovin our lights... right at the top of the reef so i don't know if it's so much a lighting issue. so i just fed him and he seems to be perking up a little. guess we'll just have to watch him for now.
thanks for the replies

they will do this to purge their system like using the bathroom to use give a little time if its not acting right in a day or so continue to try to feed it but it will be fine i beleive

yea i think he might have just been hungry. I just got home from work and he appears to be looking happy and is big again. My only complaint is that he has moved to the BACK of the tank ! Still attatched to the same spot just poked out of the back hole instead of the top one. I am sure tomorrow he will be back out of the top, since the rock shades that area in the back when the halides are on :)

Thank you for all the help guys, I do appreciate it.

Sounds like it was just doing an internal water change. They will do that when put in a new tank. Plus my RBTA's do that about once a week.

yep. when my salinity gets knocked aroundmy bta will 'lose' all its water, and then fill back up to kinda equalize itself with the water. had it happen alot before i got my refractometer :D

In fact that happened last night with my 3 RBTAs in my 75. All look
great again today. Now if it stayed like that for a couple of days,
I would be a bit concerned, but otherwise it is normal.

Yep! He looks great today! I would snap a few pics but he is still int he back of those rocks :( So When he decides he wants some sun I'll snap some pics.
