new anemone not adopted by clowns

Just got my 1st anemone (beautiful LTA),
My clowns (regular perc, I guess) have looked at it for hours. They don't seem interested.

How long is it going to take before they start hosting? Will they ever host?

It's the 1st time they see an anemone.

Is there anything I can do to help??

it takes time they are not magnetically attracted...

Unbelievable.... my 1st and new LTA stayed exactly where I put it. My clowns ignored it for a while.... looking interested though.

One morning (no light), I saw my small clown in it. Now the two clowns are both (altenatively) in it.

Should I get another anemore ( a BTA) so they each have their own??

No. The whole point is for them to share one anemone. They are a couple.

sweet, after just one week huh?.. I've got a pair of true percs and put an RBTA in the tank a few weeks ago and they haven't even bothered to look at it..

Yea me too! I have 1 big RBTA and 1 big GBTA and my clown pair don't even go on the same side of the tank as it!
