new anemone on it's side

Hi there,

I have an anemone that looks similar to this one white spotted rose anemone but is not quite the same:

Mine is pink on the bottom half of the foot (solid, no spots on the pink part of the foot), then it fades into a transparent/white with yellowish/greenish tinted white spots similar to the ones on the white spotted rose. it had long white tentacles with the same color tips as the spots-- a yellowish greenish tinted white.

in the fish store it was not anchored to anything. it has been in the tank for about 24 hours, it looks very healthy but it is laying on it's side, with about 1/2 the foot attached to a bit of live rock, the other half floating detached above the live rock.

should i be concerned? is there anything i can do to help it anchor or do i just have to be patient?

also what are the best foods? will it just eat the leftovers that the fish don't eat? I feed my fish formula one and mysis shrimp.

thanks for your help
