New Anemone....

I have a green long tenticled anemone now. It's gotten pretty large ( 6-8 inches across) it has 2 hosting clown fish. I just found a very small ( half dollar size ) long tenticled PURPLE anemone!! It's awesome. when it's adjusted should/can I add another clown for it? I don't need a clown fight lol.... I ask because I was also wondering if the other clowns left the old one for the new one, will it effect the anemone? And, if not and they stay, im back to the begining with, should i get a clown for it?Thanks for your help

Some more info would help, I'm sure. What size tank do you have, what kind of clowns. Everything I have heard is that you pretty much dont want more than 2 clowns, but I think someone with more experience will chime in if they had a bit more info

What size tank do you have? What kind of clowns do u currently have? I would not add another clown, you'll just start a fight that will eventually lead to the death of one of the pairs, females can be very aggressive and territorial...

About the nem, if you want to add it, it shouldn't be a problem, if the clowns leave the current nem or change in between its no problem but if they do decide to host the new small anemone they might kill it due to its size...

If u have enough room its still a risk and it sounds small not good for clown fights.let it grow and you're pair will spawn and keep I fry or 2 they except there own

I maintain a variety of 4 Designer/SA/ORA clowns in my 125. Although it's a massive anemone garden. =)

we would have to see some pictures to believe that. :thumbsup:
