New Angels!

Just picked up 3 beautiful angels from NY Aquatics:

Yellow Belly Regal: About 5-6" and STUNNING!
Blue Lined: About 1.5"
Scribbled: About 2.5"

Also grabbed a 2" Goldflake from Bluezooaquatics

So far the Goldflake is eating well and the Regal has taken a number of bites, just not heavy duty yet. I'm working on the Blue Lined and Scribbled. Both are picking off the rock, but I'm trying to get them with live brine and any frozen / dry food I have.

I have to say I'm really impressed with the quality from both of these shops and very relieved that these guys all made the trip ok.

Will update as I progress through the eating process!

try mincing some pe Mysis...spir/omega brine..fresh clam...
would recommend against dry with such small fish..especially large quantities of it...
a great group of fish...
might try live black worms if it is tough to get them eating..

Humaguy: I tried live black worms yesterday with no luck. Will try Mysis and live brine (gut loaded) today.

Coral Lagoon: LOVE your blueline, hoping to get mine to that adjust phase (and past) too!

Update

Here is the update on the fish (all still alive and looking good):

Goldflake: Eating literally everything I put in the tank. Easiest fish to feed!

Regal: Believe it or not he likes dry food, mostly flake. Not so much the frozen or live foods yet although he has taken a few live black worms.

Scribbled: Yesterday starting eating live blackworms and lots of them!! Will continue to work on moving him over to other foods.

Blue Lined: Still picking at rock, but has yet to out right eat something else. He still looks good and healthy so it may take more time.

So far all are moving the right direction.

I'm glad to hear you are having success and I appreciate the update. I have unfortunately lost both of my fish as of tonight. The regal went early and the venustus went tonight.

When you have a chance, I'd love to see pictures. Thanks again for the update.

Very sorry to hear you lost them both, dang. Was it for lack of eating or did a disease strike?

I have a few pics and will work on posting them soon.

So hows the Regal angel doing? Eating anything else besides flake. Did you try Pe mysis? Was thinking of getting one also from NYA for another tank im planning.

I'm really glad to hear your fish are doing well. I hope I can report the same success on my next shipment.

I will be interested to hear how the blueline is doing. Also, do you know the origin of the Regal?
