I had to make an unplaned move, so my 30g long neever really got off the ground and was giving away. I found a Cardiff 24g for 50$ with all the stock gear. The tank looks great and fits in my smaller apartment. I have a watchman goby & pistol shrimp pair, also a fairy wrasse. What would be another great lovely addition I could add? My gf really like cardinals for some reason, they seem a little dull to me just floating aroud in a spot. But I would like for her to keep her interest in the aquarium so something colorful and active would help. I have a sbreeflight coming in on monday, what would be some good corals i could add? I have read that xenia and gsp an grow out of control and fragging is not something i want to start doing so soon. Thanks for any help. :spin3:

PS. Tanks have been running for 4 months now. everything is good Nirates around 5ppm, working on getting that to 0.

I agree the Fairy Wrasse is going to be way to aggressive in a small tank and is unlikely to allow you to add another fish to your aquarium. I would see if your local fish store would let you trade it in for credit on another fish. Firefish are very colorful although not super active, A Royal Gramma would be a great fish, Clownfish, Possum Wrasse all would work.

Well I guess the problem is they sold me the fish knowing the aquarium size, I even showed pictures. They said it would be fine in that aquarium they said it was not going to be any bigger than that. How am I suppose to catch it?

Search fish trap on these message boards. You'll find some ideas.

I can build a bottle trap, use to doing that from my planted aquarium days. Just ****es me off guy said it was a smaller fairy wrasse variation. Just plain lied to my face. I would have checked liveaquaria but the phone was dead. I'll see if they won't give me a refund. Since I purchased it the other day.

2 snowflake clowns, goby shrimp and royal gramma were my original stock list. But I'd rather have some stuff that will keep my gf involved with the aquarium. Some good coral ideas?

Never listen to a LFS. They want the sale. They should take it back for at least store credit. Ask them to order you a possum wrasse. Either tanaka or yellow banded. Check them out on liveaquaria. Or just use the store credit for something else and get the wrasse from LA. I actually recommend getting it on Diver's Den instead of the normal Live Aquaria site. More of a guarantee you are getting a fish in good condition.
