New Aquarist to the Elk Grove area

Word to all the marine aqaurists in Sacramento~!
My name is Matthew and recently moved to Elk Grove from the Bay area to finish my degree. I am pleased to hear that there is a forum for Sacramento on this website as it has EXTREMELY benefited me and my hobby but I am also sad to inform you all that I was forced to breakdown my 125 reef... I know I know..it hurt REAL bad to sell all my beautiful corals and syphon out all of my hard work and dedication. I was able to start a ten gallon (up for aprox. 5 months) and have realized the selection and number of stores out here STINKS~! So I am open to any and all input regarding stores, traders/fragers, and meetings (if there are any) and hopefully my satisfaction for this wonderful hobby will return full steam~! AWESOME~! Thanks Shiveley~! Any adivise as to which ones are better for SPS LPS ect?? Ive been to Capitol and that was one of the worste experiences Ive ever had at a fish store but you have mentioned ones I wasnt able to even find on the net~!

I get most of my LPS and SPS from this forum. I've seen much nicer specimens in MARS member tanks than I have in most LFS's. That being said, I'm not a good judge on what stores are best at what, so others might be more helpful in that regard.

I would first check out CRS and YourReef. They have nice selections of both LPS and SPS usually.

Not to bash, but Capitol is not a great place for SPS.
As others have said check out YourReef and Coral Reef Shop.
Both stellar places to nail some nice SPS and LPS frags.

Thanks yall~!
I put together a "runs" list (meaing a mapped out travel plan to hit al the stores) thats what me and my buddies would call it when we would spend the entire day visiting stores from Fremont to San Francisco.
So if anybody is ever interested in joing me or would like to plan their own field trip just PM me or drop a line on the thread~! Thanks for all the input and i hope to meet and greet a majority of you all~!
