New Beat Up Yellow Tang

Hi all! I just wanted to share a picture of my new yellow tang. He had been at the same fish store for years, thry kind of gave up on selling him, and kept him in the back. My girlfriend has a thing for misfits, so fell in love with him instantly. I'm not sure exactly what happened, either birth defects or beat up by something!

All and all, he seems healthy and has some character!

And his fins never grew back..? Well I guess as long as he is happy and eating, his fins will grow back in time, or at least should. He appears to be very healthy despite missing fins.

They've had him for years like this. I'm pretty sure thats just the way he is and will be! I think he looks a bit like a filefish.

Looks like a happy healthy tang. A survivor. Once their fns get past a certain point I don't think they will grow back.
