New blue carpet question

a friend of mine jut put a blue carpet in a 20g for a temp home it will be going in a 380g soon. we were both wondering if it looked good and helthy this is his first anem and i know very little about them. he has 105 watts of power compact lighting on the tank and water is pars are very good. reef stable.

its not lookin too good.. Its mouth is gaping and open. Im guessing you didnt properl acclimate it to the tank. You need to drip acclimate them for about 1-2 hours. I would say that tank is way too small for a blue haddoni to be in there for any period of time. Hope the 380 isnt very new because you will need to get it into a bigger better tank very soon

it was drip acclimated took about 2.5 hours. and the 380 is about a year old he just has some fish he is needing to catch befor its put in.

Okay well that sounds good. Have you fed it lately?

no he has not. they told him to let it adjust to the tank for a few days before feeding it.
