New BTA moving around - When should I be worried?

I got a new BTA two days ago. It's still moving around in the tank. Should I be concerned?

Of course, my stupid ballast went out today, but it still has 2 T5's and 1 MH.

IMO,let it be for a bit.At this point I would not be to worried but still keep an eye on it!BUt do acclimate it to your lights once ya get the other ballest up and going!

mine still moves around after 5 months of having it. it will move around and then stay put. i dont think mine will ever stop. hehe

Ours acts like its a hide & seek game. Now you see me, now you don't....

expecially watch if you have Zoas. i got a few nice corals burned from RBTA. i swear it has RFS (restless foot syndrome)

I would agree if it is getting to close to the powerhead, mine will move until they find the exact right spot if they are disturbed from their original spot (like the halides not turning off )

Thats exactly why i gave up on BTA's....Im not a fan of the hide and seek game....

Be worried if it gets close to your powerhead....

Or LPS, I used to have a nice hammer coral, until one day I found my rbta wanted its spot.
