Where can I get a Sherman anemone?

your best bet is either CC, which cost ALOT.. or try this forum. http://www.dfwmas.org

Sherman Rose originated from there.. but often times those folks will call any red BTA with dark base a "sherman rose". so you gotta be careful on selection.

My own little design BTA tank is here.. 18x18x8. All black internals so the nems will really pop. Built in closed loop system. I'll introduce water from my 150gal. Fills the outer portion first before the pressure hits from all 3 sides.

awesome looking nems I might have to get one one i upgrade to a bigger tank.

got me a Hell Fire anemone today! still a baby 1 inch, but now I have to watch out.. no more randomly putting my hands in the tank.

It looks very similar to the Mimic anemone I got a few months back.. also got the killer tentacles at night.. But it looks more branchy with red polyps, whereas the mimic looks bushy..

I'm not sure if they are the same anemone... I'll wait till it's fully acclimated to see.

I've bought inferno and other anemones from CC and have been very happy with. SPS, on other hand, I can't seem to keep. I believe it's mostly due to my water parameters and tank maintenance, not because of bad sps that I bought from some vendor.
